Job Summary:
• Perform radiology and CAT scan.
• Responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures under general supervision.
• Radiology and CAT scan exams including venipuncture for contrast administration.
• Work closely with patients, physicians, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient information, and billing details.
Essential Skills:
• Require proficiency in performing x-rays and CTs; additionally, MRI and/or mammography experience preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and medical terminology.
• Competency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures independently and operating departmental equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of a JRCERT approved program in radiological technology.
• Additional education or training for certification in various modalities preferred.
Experience:
•New graduates welcome. Some experience preferred.
Licensure / Certifications / Registrations:
• California State License (CRT) with Fluoroscopy.
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• IV Venipuncture/Contrast Administration course completion certificate.
